Nompumelelo Seme

Nompumelelo was admitted to the Johannesburg Bar in April 2022.

Advocate Seme holds a BA LL.B (cum laude) and an LLM (Tax Law) from the University of the Witwatersrand.

She began her legal career at Werksman’s attorneys, was legal advisor at Eskom before joining the University of the Witwatersrand as an academic at the law school.  Advocate Seme taught tax law, property law, commercial law and customary law. She has a diverse legal experience and is a co-author of the textbook ‘The Principles of The Law of Property, a published author and editor of the Constitutional Court Review journal.
