Irene de Vos

Irene joined the Johannesburg Bar in 2010. She holds an LLB and LLM from the University of Pretoria and an LLM from Leiden University with a focus on International Human Rights. Her practice tends towards property, protest, employment and refugee law. She clerked for Chief Justice Pius Langa and Chief Justice Willy Mutunga of the Kenyan Supreme Court. She worked for an international human rights organization that litigated in international and regional courts and was in-house counsel for the Socio-Economic Rights Centre of South Africa.
